Koncert Cancioneta Praga / Cancioneta Praga concert

Přeji všem hezký víkend!

Tak mi to připadá, že letošní říjen mám víc kulturní, než kterýkoli jiný měsíc. Nejdřív to byla Lady Gaga v O2 Aréně a minulou sobotu jsem navštívila koncert ženského pěveckého sboru Cancioneta Praga v Lichtenštejnském paláci na Malé Straně. 

Přiznám se, že sborový zpěv úplně až tak nemusím. Ale moje kolegyně z práce a kamarádka v jedné osobě právě v tomhle zpívá a tak jsem dostala pozvání na tento koncert, který byl zároveň zahajovacím koncertem koncertní sezony s názvem Z Barrandova do Hollywoodu. Tématem koncertu tedy byly filmové písně, a to mě zaujalo, protože filmová hudba se mi vždy líbila. Navíc mě kamarádka nalákala na Skyfall, což je skladba, kterou mám ráda moc.

Každopádně jsem byla upozorněna, ať nečekám nic extra, protože člověk je zvyklý na určitou interpretaci písniček, které má naposlouchané a které jsou prověřené léty. A samozřejmě ve sborové podobě vypadají skladby trošku úplně jinak. Tak jsem byla zvědavá, co nás čeká a taky jsem nikdy neslyšela svou kamarádku zpívat naživo, jen z CD, a to byly takové ty typické sborové písně. A vlastně jsem ani nebyla na žádném podobném koncertu tohoto druhu.

První půlka koncertu byla věnována českým filmovým písním a druhá polovina zase těm zahraničním. Nástup měly slečny ve stylu Přednosty stanice s odpovídajícím hudebním doprovodem. Nutno říci, že hudební doprovod čítal pouze klavír (ze kterého jsem byla naprosto hotová, a jehož zvuk byl odzbrojující, stejně jako pan klavírista, jehož prsty poletovaly na klaviatuře s neuvěřitelnou lehkostí a zároveň přesností). Dále přišly na řadu Zlatovláska, kde se slečny doprovodily i hrou na flétny, Saxana, která sklidila asi největší úspěch, dále Bossa Nova ze Starců na chmelu. Pak se holky trošku odvázaly, vzaly do rukou půllitry a zpívaly si Hoja hoj (z muzikálu Noc na Karlštejně) s doprovodem bicího nástroje. Zazněla také píseň ze seriálu Chalupáři Když máš v chalupě orchestrion. Řekla bych, že to byl takový průřez českou filmovou scénou za různé roky. V rámci české části bylo také pokřtěno CD holek, kterého se ujal frontman skupiny Chinaski Michal Malátný, který s holkama v tomto roce spolupracoval a i na tomto koncertě si spolu zazpívali Ten umí to a ten zas tohle z pohádky Císařův pekař a pekařův císař.

Co se týče zahraničních písní, zazněly Hallellujah, z které jsem já osobně měla husí kůži, již zmíněný Skyfall, který byl super, líbilo se mi moc. Holky si i na tuto píseň nasadily černé brýle ve stylu Jamese Bonda. Zazněl i Oh Happy Day, na který se holky převlékly do jeptiškovských hábitů ve stylu filmu Sestra v akci. Jedna ze slečen měla sólo a z té jsem byla opravdu hotová. Kdybych se nekoukala, tak bych si myslela, že je to Černoška, protože měla úžasný hlas. Ve stylu Sestry v akci zazněla ještě jedna píseň, kterou jsem znala právě z toho filmu, ale podle názvu jsem ji neznala (Hail Holy Queen). Také zazněla píseň The Shoop Shoop Song od Cher. Nakonec přišel na řadu film Mamma Mia!, který byl zlatým hřebem večera, by se dalo říci. Zazněly písně od skupiny Abba: Mamma Mia, Take a Chance On Me, Thank You For the Music, Dancing Queen. Součástí Mamma Mia! byla i poměrně bohatá choreografie, na které se holky musely fakt nadřít a za což jim skládám hold. Měly to moc hezky udělané. Abyste taky věděli, o čem tu mluvím, přikládám videa (zdroj je samozřejmě youtube.com, videa nejsou moje tvorba). Musím říct, že to byl opravdu zážitek a celkem mě mrzelo, že už koncert končí. Je mi ale jasné, že pro holky to byla i zábava, ale rozhodně i velkým dílem fuška. Osobně se mi nejvíc líbila ta hollywoodská část a nejvíc asi Skyfall, Oh Happy Day, Hallellujah. Mamma Mia! byla super, dojalo to i mě i mou mamku, které jsem to pak pustila právě ze záznamu z youtube. Tak se taky koukněte a uvidíte :) A třeba holky ještě někdy koncert v podobném duchu budou mít znovu. Pokud ano, určitě se tam zase ukážu :)

So it seems to me that this October I have is more cultural than any other month. First it was Lady Gaga at the O2 Arena, and last Saturday I visited a concert of women´s choir Cancioneta Praga at the Liechtenstein Palace at the Lesser Town. 

I admit that I´m not in choral singing that much. But my colleague and friend from work is singing in this choir and so I got invitation to this concert, which was also the opening concert of the concert season entitled From Barrandov to Hollywood. The theme of the concert was therefore songs from movies, and I was interested about it, because I always liked the film music. Besides my friend lured me with Skyfall, which is a song that I like very much.

Anyway I was advised not to expect anything extra, because one is accustomed to a certain interpretation of the songs that are well known and proven by years. And of course in the choral style the songs seem a little completely differently. So I was curious to see what awaits us, and I never heard my friend sing live, just from the CD, and it was typical of the sort of choral songs. And actually I haven´t been on any concert of this style ever.

The first half of the concert was devoted to the Czech movie songs and the second half to those from Hollywood. The girls came up on the scene in the style of Přednosta stanice (translation of the Czech movie: A Station Agent, movie with the Czech famous actor Vlasta Burian) with appropriate musical accompaniment. Needless to say, the musical accompaniment was only piano (from which I was perfectly done, and the sound was disarming, like Mr pianist whose fingers were flying on the keyboard with incredible ease and accuracy at the same time). Next, there was The Goldilocks, where the girls were accompanied also by playing the flute by themselves, Saxana (a.k.a. The Girl on the Broom - Czech movie about the witch who got to the human´s world) which garnered probably the greatest success, then Bossa Nova from The Old Men on the Hop (Czech musical). Then the girls went a little untie, they took the beer mugs and singing Hoja hoj (from the musical A Night at Karlštejn) with a drum. There was also a song from the show Cottagers, When you got orchestrion in the cottage. I think it was such a cross-section of Czech film scenes from different years. Within the Czech part of the concert their CD was also christened by the frontman of Chinaski (Czech well known music band) Michal Malátný who collaborated with the girls this year and even on this concert they sang together He can do this and another one another thing from a fairy tale The Emperor's Baker and the Baker´s emperor.

As for the foreign songs there was Hallellujah, of which I personally had goosebumps, already mentioned Skyfall, which was great, and I liked it very much. The girls get the black glasses in the style of James Bond for this song. Then there was Oh Happy Day, on which the girls changed their clothes into the nuns´ robes in the style of the movie Sister in Act. One of the girls had a solo and I was really amazed by her. If I was not looking, I thought it was Black woman because she had an amazing voice. From the movie Sister in Act there was even one song I knew right from the movie, but I didn´t know its name (Hail Holy Queen). Also The Shoop Shoop Song by Cher. Finally it came to Mamma Mia!, which was the highlight of the evening, I would say. There were songs: Mamma Mia, Take a Chance On Me, Thank You For The Music, Dancing Queen. Part of Mamma Mia! was quite rich choreography, to which the girls had really bone up for and for which I pay homage to them. They had it very nicely done. I have to say that it was really a great experience and I was quite sorry that the concert is already over. However t´s clear to me that for girls it was also fun, but definitely also a hard job. Personally I liked the most the songs from the Hollywood part and most probably Skyfall, Oh Happy Day, Hallellujah. Mamma Mia! was awesome, it touched me and also my mom to whom I played it from youtube. So you can also look and you´ll see :) And maybe girls will have some concert in the alike feel again some time.
