Let´s Dance ...

Přeji Vám krásnou první letní sobotu!

Je to tak, protože právě dnes je letní slunovrat a začíná oficiálně mé nejoblíbenější roční období. Tak doufejme, že bude stát za to :)

Miluji tanec a doufám, že i tanec miluje mě :) Nejsem profesionálka, to ani zdaleka ne, vlastně jsem ani nechodila do tanečních a docela mě to mrzí a místy i teď v dospělosti uvažuji o tom, že si to teď vynahradím. Mám ráda tanec všeho druhu, jak klasické (valčík, waltz...), tak latinskoamerické tance. Dokonce si teď vzpomínám, že na základce jsme s kámoškou navštěvovaly u nás ve škole takové kurzy latinskoamerických tanců a vím, že mě to moc bavilo a byla jsem pak smutná, když je zrušili. Pak jsem jen chodila na zumbu, kde se vlastně všechny ty latinskoamerické tance míchají. Ale ráda bych se to naučila tak, jak jsem viděla minulý víkend.

Miluji tanec, takže když jsem vyhrála vstupenky na galapárty Urbano Latino Festivalu, tak jsem z toho měla radost. Je pravda, že jsem vůbec nevěděla, co si pod tím mám představit a co se tam vlastně bude dít. Zkoukla jsem to sice všechno na netu, jako že jaký je program a tak, ale realita je většinou stejně jiná. Sama bych na takovou akci nešla, a protože vím, že moje teta má taky latinskoamerické tance ráda, navíc chodila do kurzů salsy, tak jsme vyrazily spolu.

Galapárty v klubu Lávka byla vlastně vyústěním celého festivalu, kdy se konaly různé taneční workshopy a vystoupení po celé Praze. Musím se přiznat, že vůbec v Lávce jsem na večerní akci byla poprvé. Dorazily jsme skoro mezi prvníma :D Takže jsme tam chvilku seděly nasucho, protože ani bar ještě nebyl otevřen. Ne, že bych byla nějaká ochmelka, ale sedět v klubu s vodou je přece jen trochu divné. No, to nemám na svou tetu, která si dala čaj :D No ale proti gustu... Trošku barman se na mě koukal divně, ale zachránila jsem to, když jsem si k tomu čaji dala Cuba Libre :D

No ale k tématu, protože už se tu zase vykecávám... Na vstupence bylo napsáno, že program začíná ve 21:30, začal ve 22:30, ale aspoň jsme ještě stihly pokec. Velice záhy jsem zjistila, že jsem se celkem nepatřičně oblékla. V práci máme nepsaný dress code, takže v pracovním týdnu musím být za dámu a tak jsem ráda za svůj volný čas, kdy si můžu vzít co chci, něco hodně ležérního, sportovního. Na sobě jsem měla celkem svítivě modré džíny, bílý top z H&M a kotníčkové sportovní botky, které úplně miluju. Můžete je vidět na obrázku, to jsou přesně ty moje <3 nbsp="" p="">

Na tuhle akci dorazily samí skoroprofesionálové, bych řekla, takže jejich dress code byl úplně jiný, než v čem jsem tam dorazila já. Dámy v tanečních šatičkách, na nohou obuté taneční botky, nad kterými jsem jen zůstala slintat. No zkrátka byly dost vyparáděné. Verča (teta) říkala, že jsem v pohodě, tak jsem to pak už neřešila. Stejně, co jsem mohla dělat... 

Co se týče hudby, chvilku pouštěl latino hudbu DJ a pak přišla na řadu živá kapela - La Descarga Orquestra. Myslela jsem si, že to byli nějací latinští Američané, ale byla to směs z Kuby, Peru, Německa, Austrálie a Česka, pokud jsem to tedy správně pochopila :) Ale každopádně vypadali dost exoticky :) Když začali hrát, tak se to na parketu celkem rozohnilo a páry začaly tančit. Vlastně se tam tančilo jen v párech, občas i holky tancovaly spolu. Nebyla to typická diskotéka, že by si tam každý mohl trsat to svoje. Kdybych tam vlezla s těmi svými kroky, naučenými ze zumby a s třasořitkou, tak bych se asi sama sobě vysmála. Protože to byli opravdu samí profíci. Taky kdo by chodil na takovou akci, než lidé, kteří to milují a žijí tím. 

Na vedlejším parketu probíhala druhá část tohoto festivalu, tzn. Urban, takže tam DJ hrál reggae a reggaeton. Nikdy jsem na reggae tančit nebyla a ani proti němu nic nemám. Ale když jsme tam nějakou tu chvilku byly a poslouchaly a snažily se tančit... Klíčové je slovo "snažily", protože reggae je opravdu velmi specifická hudba a tančit na ní je jako snažit se tančit na punk... Tak jsem si řekly, že reggae je fajn, ale chtělo by to i něco jiného. Ale jak říkám, mám reggae ráda, ale asi spíš jen na poslech. Takže moc dlouho jsme tam nevydržely a vrátily se zpět k latino rytmům. Jasně, že jsem se vlnila pod stolem, ale když mě někdo vyzval k tanci, rezolutně jsem vrtěla hlavou :D

Mrzelo mě sice, že jsem si nezatancovala, ale mě nevadí i jen tak sedět, poslouchat, a hlavně dívat se na ostatní, jak válí. A říkat si, že takhle to jednou taky budu umět :) Vystupovaly tam potom i různé taneční skupiny. Z nich se mi nejvíc líbily Juicy Divas a Sangre Nueva, kupodivu z Česka a ze Slovenska :) To byly holčiny, které tancují spíš ten urban styl, streetový a to mám hodně ráda. Ale stejně ráda mám, když někdo umí hezky tancovat latinskoamerické tance. Proto jsem se ráda koukala na Stardance. Každopádně jsme si obě s Verčou říkaly, že bychom měly začít někam chodit, po tom, co jsme tam viděly, abychom si příští rok mohly zatancovat taky. Rozhodně to byl zážitek a bylo to fajn :)

I wish you a beautiful first summer Saturday!

It´s true because today it´s the summer solstice and officially begins my favourite season. So hopefully it´ll be worth it :)

I love dance and I hope that also dance loves me :) I´m not a pro, far from it. Actually I didn´t attend dancing lessons when I was young and I´m quite sorry about it and sometimes I think about that I´ll compensate it in the adulthood. I love dance of all kinds, whether the classical (waltz, slow waltz), or Latin American dances. I even remember now that in the elementary school we attended with my friend at our school such courses of Latin American dances and I know that I´ve enjoyed it a lot and then I was sad, when it was cancelled. Then I went only on zumba classes where all those Latin American dances blend. But I´d like to learn it the way as I saw last weekend.

I love dance again, so when I won tickets to the gala party of Urbano Latino Festival, so I was happy of it. It´s then true that I didn´t know at all what should I imagine and what´s actually going to be there. Though I looked at the web about this event on what will be the program and so on, but the reality is often different in most cases. I wouldn´t go on my own on such party. And because I know that my auntie likes the Latin American dances, too, and moreover she´s attended salsa classes, so we hung out together.

Gala party at the Lávka club was actually an outcome of the festival when there were various dance workshops and performances throughout Prague. I have to amit that I was for the first time on the evening party at Lávka. We arrived almost first there :D So we sat there dry for a while because even the bar wasn´t opened yet. Not that I was a piss artist but sitting in a club with water is still a bit strange. Well, that´s nothing besides my auntie who had a tea :D Well, there´s no accounting for taste... A bartender looked at me a little oddly but I saved it when I had more Cuba Libre next to the tea :D

But to the topic, because I´m talking way out again... It was written on the ticket that the program starts at 21.30, well, it started at 22.30 but at least we could talk. Very soon I realized that I was quite unappropriately dressed. At my work we have an unwritten dress code, so during the week I have to be for a lady and so I´m happy for my free time, when I can take just what I want, something very casual, sporty. I wore that evening quite glowingly blue jeans, white top from H&M and ankle-high sports sneakers that I totally love. You can see them on the picture below, these are exactly that mine <3 p="">

I´d say there were absolute almost-pros at this event so their dress code was completely different than what I got. Ladies were in the dance dresses, on their feet dancing shoes over which I just stayed slobber. In short they were pretty dressed to kill. Verča (my auntie) said I was fine, so I didn´t solve it anymore. Anyway, what could I do...

As for the music, the DJ put the latino music for a bit and then the live band came on its turn - La Descarga Orquestra. I thought they were some Latin Americans but it was a mixture from Cuba, Peru, Germany, Australia and the Czech Republic, if I understood it correctly :) But anyway they looked very exotic :) When they started playing, there was a big fire on the dance floor and the couples began to dance. Actually there were only couples dancing, sometimes girls were dancing with each other. It wasn´t a typical discoteque that each one could dance on his own. If I went on the dance floor with those my steps, learned from zumba and with the shaking my hips, then I´d have probably laughed for myself. Because there were really all the pros. Also who would come to an event like this rather than people who loves it and lives by it.

On the next stage there was the second part of the festival, that Urban, so there was a DJ playing reggae and reggaeton. I haven´t ever been on reggae and also I don´t have anything against it. But when we were there for some time listening to music and trying to dance... The key word is "trying", because reggae is really very specific music and to dance on it is like to try to dance on punk... So we realized that reggae is good but it would need also something else. But as I say, I like reggae but rather for the listening. So we weren´t there for so long and we went back to the Latin rhythms. Of course I was swaying under the table but when someone asked me to dance, I shook my head resolutely :D

Although I was sorry that I didn´t take a dance but I don´t mind to just sit and listen, and especially to look at the others how they roll. And to say that I´ll dance like this one time, too :) There were also performances of various dance crews. Of these I liked the most Juicy Divas and Sangre Nueva, suprisingly from Czech and Slovak Republic :) They were girls who dance rather that urban style, the street dance and that I love a lot. But the same I like when somebody gives good Latin dance. That´s why I liked to watch Stardance on TV. Anyway we agreed with Verča that we should start to go somewhere for dance classes after what we saw there, so we can also dance next year on this party. It was definitely an experience and it was great :)
